Source: Recombinant corresponding to 127aa from human TECK expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~14.2kD Biological Activity: The biological activity of TECK was determined by measuring its ability to chemoattract human monocytes. A concentration range of 1.0-10ng/ml produced significant chemotaxis. TECK is a member of the b chemokine (C-C) family, identified in the thymus of mice and humans. TECK is a chemoattractant for activated macrophages, dendritic cells and thymocytes. The receptor for TECK is CCR-9. Endotoxin: ~0.1ng/ug Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: ~14.2kD |
