Biological Activity:
The biological activity of TECK was determined by measuring its ability to chemoattract human monocytes. A concentration range of 1.0-10ng/ml produced significant chemotaxis. TECK is a member of the b chemokine (C-C) family, identified in the thymus of mice and humans. TECK is a chemoattractant for activated macrophages, dendritic cells and thymocytes. The receptor for TECK is CCR-9.

Endotoxin: ~0.1ng/ug
