Technical Data
T3660-06
TGN38 (Trans Golgi Network 38)
Description:
T3660-06 recognizes a glycoprotein designated TGN38 that is found primarily in the Trans-golgi network, and has been found to be an excellent marker for this cellular organelle. TGN38 is likely to have a role in intracellular transport. It is the homologue of human TGN46.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence (IC). Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:100. Fixation with 3% paraformaldehyde or methanol is recommended
and incubation for 60 minutes at RT in blocking buffer (0.1% gelatin in TBS/triton)
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000. 5% milk/TBS (+ 0.1% Tween-20) and incubation for 60 minutes at RT
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin):1:100-1:200. Fixation with methanol or methanol/acetone recommended
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
