Thioredoxin
Description:
Thioredoxins (Trx) are small, multi-functional proteins with oxidoreductase activity and they are ubiquitous in essentially all living cells. Thioredoxin is a 12kD redox protein that has powerful protein disulfide oxidoreductase activity. It has been shown to be involved in various cellular processes, including activation of the transcription factor NR-KB.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 0.01-0.1ug/ml
Western Blot: 1.0ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
Sp2/0 /AG14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
