Recombinant NTR (cytoplasmic type) is produced by DNA recombinant procedure in E. coli as an intracellular protein and purified from cell lysate by conventional chromatographies. Potential Applications: TRXred (reduced form of TRX), Mitigation of allergenicity of allergic proteins in food, or assay of TRX: The amount of TRX in biomaterial can be determined by measuring the rate of NADPH oxidation using NADHP/NTR/TRX system. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. |
Source: E. coli Purity: Purified from cell lysate by conventional chromatographies. Form: Supplied as lyophilized powder. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
