Description: This antioody is intended for the detection of DNA damage as a result of UV irradiation. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma (P3/X63-Ag8) x immunized mouse (Balb/c) spleen cells Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Southern Blot, Northern Blot, and Dot Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: In situ Hybridization: 1:40-1:80. Frozen sections of fixed tissue or formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections are recommended. Southern, Northern and Dot Blot: For the detection of thymine dimers in UV-damaged DNA and thymine-dimerized DNA probes used for in situ. (reported to work, but no data is available) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
