TLR2 (Toll Like Receptor 2)
Description:
TLR2 is a 90kD type 1 transmembrane protein that is primarily expressed by peripheral blood monocytes and is reported to respond to a diverse range of bacterial cell wall components, mediating the innate immune response in co-operation with MD-2.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen) and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:10- 1:50. Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.

Hybridoma:
Spleen cells from immunized Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the NSO myeloma cell line.

Recommended Positive Control Tissue:
Tonsil

Recommended Negative Control:
I1904-83P1: Mouse IgG2a

Recommended Secondary Reagents:
F(ab')2 rabbit anti-mouse IgG FITC conjugate

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
