Description: The Toll-like Receptor 2 (TLR2) is a 90kD type 1 transmembrane protein that is primarily expressed by peripheral blood monocytes. TLR2 is reported to respond to a diverse range of bacterial cell wall components, mediating the innate immune response in co-operation with MD-2. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: NSO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. IHC Positive Control Tissue: Tonsil Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-65W: IgG, F(ab’)2 (HRP) Pab Rb xMo Recommended Negative Controls: I1904-83P1: IgG2a Murine Negative Control Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
