Description: TRAF2 is a 52kD protein which binds directly to TNF receptors and other TRAF proteins, transducing apoptotic and stress response signal cascades through adaptors including inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAPs). TRAF2 can also bind TNF receptors by forming a heterodimeric complex with TRAF1. Additionally TRAF2 forms a stronger, indirect, association with TNF receptors by forming a complex with apoptotic signal transducer (Tumor necrosis factor receptor associated death domain). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml ELISA: 1:128,000 Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3.75ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
