TRAIL (TNF-related Apoptosis Inducing Ligand) also known as CD253, is a cytotoxic protein which activates apoptosis in tumor cells but not in normal cells. TRAIL binds to two so-called 'death receptors', designated DR4 and DR5. Source: Recombinant human TRAIL expressed in E. coli Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Functional Assays: 0.2-20ng/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: 19.6kD |
Source: Recombinant, human, expressed in E. coli Purity: ~98% by SDS PAGE and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin: 1EU/ug. Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS. Reconstitute with 50ul sterile dH2O .
