Technical Data
T8199-05R
Transferrin (Tf, Tfn, Trf, Beta-1 Metal-binding Globulin, Liver Regeneration-related Protein LRRG03, MGC93500, Serotransferrin, Siderophilin)
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoelectrophoresis and Double Radial
Immunodiffusion. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunoelectrophoresis: 120ul against 2ul serum or equivalent
Double Radial Immunodiffusion: Use a rosette arrangement with 10ul in 3mm diameter
center well and 2ul serum samples (neat and serially diluted) in 2mm diameter peripheral
wells.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder. No preservatives added. Reconstitute in 1ml sterile ddH2O. Dilute further in PBS, pH 7.2.
Specificity:
Recognizes rat Transferrin. A characteristic single precipitin line is obtained with normal serum which shows a reaction of identity with the precipitin line with purified transferrin.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
