Technical Data
TRPM2 (Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily M Member 2, Estrogen Responsive Element Associated Gene 1, Estrogen-responsive Element-associated Gene 1 Protein, EREG1, KNP3, Long Transient Receptor Potential Channel 2, LTRPC 2, LTRPC2, LTRPC
TRPM2 is a Ca(2+)-permeable channel that is activated by oxidative stress and confers susceptibility to cell death.

Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunofluorescence: 1:50
Western Blot: 1:500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50
Immunoprecipitation: 1-4ug/mg lysate
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
PabAffinity Purified
100ug-20CBlue IceHumanRabbit
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region between residue 1200-1250 of human Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel, Subfamily M, Member 2 (Accession # NP_003298.1).
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Supplied as a liquid in Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH7-8, 0.09% sodium azide.
Recognizes human TRPM2. Reactivity with mouse is unlikely due to divergence of this ortholog with the peptide used for antibody production.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
