TNF alpha is a potent pleiotrophic cytokine, produced by white blood cells, endothelium and several other normal and tumor cells in response to a wide variety of stimuli. TNF alpha is involved in the pathophysiological processes of several chronic and acute diseases including the induction of apoptosis and up regulation of inflammation. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa77-233 from human TNF alpha, fused to 6x His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot as a control. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
Source: E. coli Purity: Purified (SDS-PAGE). Concentration: As reported Form: Supplied as a liquid in 25mM Tris-HCl, pH6.8, 50mM DTT, 1% SDS, 0.1% Bromophenol Blue, 2.5% glycerol. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
