Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) is a potent lymphoid factor which exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells and certain other target cells. Source: Recombinant corresponding to mouse TNF, alpha, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~17.3kD (156aa sequence) Activity: ~1x107units/mg Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Functional Assays: 0.05-20ng/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
