Tumor necrosis factor beta (TNFbeta) is a lymphoid factor which exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells. Source: Recombinant corresponding to human TNF beta, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~18.6kD (172aa sequence) Activity: ~2x107units/mg Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug of TNF-beta ( 1EU/ug) Applications: Suitable for use in Cytotoxicity Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Cytotoxic Assays: 0.05-10ng/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 20ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: ~18kD |
