Recombinant humn Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 1, p55, expressed in E.Coli

This recombinant protein can inhibit TNF-alpha mediated cytotoxicity. The ED50 for this effect, in the presence of 0.25ng/ml of recombinant TNF-alpha, is 0.05ug/ml.

Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile 5mM TRIS pH8.0. Aliquot and store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
