Human TWEAK is a new secreted ligand in the tumor necrosis factor family that weakly induces apoptosis. TWEAK, like many members of the TNF family, was able to induce interleukin-8 synthesis in a number of cell lines. Recombinant Human TWEAK is a 17.0kD protein, comprising the TNF-like extracellular domain of TWEAK. Source: E.coli Form: The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized from 10mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.5, 0.1M L-Arg. Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of IL-8 production by Human PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cells) is less than 10ng/ml.
