Urotensin II Receptor (UTIIR, UR2R, GPR14) |
|
|
Description: Urotensin-II receptor has been reported to be expressed at high levels in the heart and pancreas and also in artery and smooth muscle. Low transcript levels have been identified in brain, particularly in thalamus, superior occipital gyrus, and substantia nigra. ESTs have been isolated from fetal, melanocyte/uterus/fetal heart, and ovarian thecoma fibroma libraries. Application(s): Immunohistochemistry with formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues. Not tested for other uses. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 3-13 ug/ml Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
