Urotensin II Receptor (UR-II-R, Urotensin 2 Receptor, Urotensin-2 Receptor, UR-2-R, UTR2, UTR, UTS2R, G-protein Coupled Receptor 14, GPR14)
Description:
UII-R, initially named GPR14, is a Urotensin Receptor that binds urotensin-II (U-II) and regulates cardiovascular function. Urotensin-II receptor has been reported to be expressed at high levels in the heart and pancreas and also in artery and smooth muscle. Low transcript levels have been identified in brain, particularly in thalamus, superior occipital gyrus, and substantia nigra. ESTs have been isolated from fetal, melanocyte/uterus/fetal heart, and ovarian thecoma fibroma libraries.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 7-13ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
