|
Description: VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) is a homodimeric, disulfide-linked glycoprotein involved in angiogenesis which promotes tumor progression and metastasis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml for 2 hours at RT Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:100-1:200 for 20 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 1mM EDTA, pH 8.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Angiosarcoma Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
