Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor, Human (VEGF) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant hVEGF in a sandwich ELISA format within the range of 63-2000pg/ml. Using the ELISA protocol provided, the recommended microplates, reagents and solutions, the components supplied in this kit are sufficient to assay hVEGF ~1000 ELISA plate wells. Specificity: When tested at 50ng/ml the following antigens exhibited 100% crossreactivity: Human VEGF121, Murine VEGF When tested at 50ng/ml the following antigens exhibited <1% crossreactivity: Human: EG-VEGF, EGF, RANTES When tested at 50ng/ml the following antigens did not exhibited significant crossreactivity: Human: FGF-16, GM-SCF, PDGF-AA, PDGF-AB, PDGF-BB, SCF. Murine: EGF, GM-CSF, SCF. Kit Components: V2110-15A1: Capture Antibody, 1x50ug V2110-15A2: Detection Antibody, 1x100ug V2110-15A3: Human Recombinant VEGF Standard, 1x1ug V2110-15A4: Avidin Peroxidase Conjugate, 1x60ul Storage and Stability: Store kit at -20°C. Stable for 6 months at -20°C. *Note: Store V2110-15A4: Upon receipt, aliquot into ten 6ul vials. Store at -20°C for up to 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
