Description: Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Westerm blot, and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:400 High temperature antigen retrieval in 10mM citrate buffer (pH6.0) is strongly recommended. Blocking with 2% normal serum plus 1% BSA in PBS is suggested. Primary antibody should be diluted in PBS with 0.1% BSA only. Triton X-100 or excess blocking compounds is not recommended. Western Blot: Membrane extract preparations and the liberal use of proteinase inhibitors is strongly recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: MCF7, SW480 and MDA-MB cell lines are positive controls for Immunocytochemistry. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
