Von Willebrand Factor (vWF, Factor VIII Related Antigen) |
|
|
Description: Von Willebrand Factor is synthesized by endothelial cells, causing adhesion of platelets to injured vessel walls and functions as a carrier and stabilizer for coagulation of Factor VIII. It is one of the most widely used endothelial cell markers for studying angiogenesis/neovascularization. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, RIA, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoperoxidase staining. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000. Detected vWF in human placenta lysates. Indirect Immunoperoxidase Staining: 1:50 Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and formalin fixed sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-02C: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Dk xMo I1904-03C: IgG, H&L (X-Adsorbed) (HRP) Pab Dk xMo pI: 6.55 Source: Ascites Control: Tonsil Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
