Wnt2B (Wingless-type MMTV Integration Site Family Member 2B, Protein Wnt-2b, Protein Wnt-13, Wnt13, XWnt2) |
|
|
Description: This gene encodes a member of the wingless-type MMTV integration site (WNT) family of highly conserved, secreted signaling factors. WNT family members function in a variety of developmental processes including regulation of cell growth and differentiation and are characterized by a WNT-core domain. This gene may play a role in Human development as well as Human carcinogenesis. This gene produces two alternative transcript variants. WNT2B is a paralogue of WNT2 and encodes WNT2B1 and WNT2B2 isoforms due to alternative splicing using alternative promoter. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human brain, cerebellum Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
