Zearalanone is a mycotoxin (a toxic metabolite of fungi). It is the primary toxin causing infertility, abortion or other breeding problems, especially in swine. Zearalenone is heat-stable and is found worldwide in a number of cereal crops, such as maize, barley, oats, wheat, rice, sorghum and bread. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
Purity: Purified Form: Supplied as a liquid. Labeled with HRP. Dilute as required and use working strength conjugate immediately after dilution. Recommended dilution factor: ~1:1000. Specificity: Each conjugate comprises antigen covalently bound to horseradish peroxide and is suitable as a tracer in immunoassay development. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
