ATPase PMCA4 |
|
|
Description: Plasma membrane calcium-ATPase 4 (PMCA4) expression shows little variation across eight drug-treated cell lines and was found to be superior to GAPDH and HPRT1, commonly used reference genes. PMCA4 can be used as a reference gene for normalizing ABC transporter expression in a drug-resistant lung carcinoma cell line. PMCA4 is a good housekeeping gene for normalization of gene expression for polytopic membrane proteins including transporters and receptors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:15,000 Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Frozen & Paraffin): 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
