Rabbit Anti-PFDN5 (Prefoldin Subunit 5, C-Myc-binding Protein Mm-1, Myc Modulator 1, MM1, PFD5) (FITC)

Binds specifically to cytosolic chaperonin (c-CPN) and transfers target proteins to it. Binds to nascent polypeptide chain and promotes folding in an environment in which there are many competing pathways for nonnative proteins.

Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
Immunogen
Recombinant corresponding to human Prefoldin subunit 5.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.01M PBS, PH 7.4, 0.03% Proclin 300, 50% glycerol. Labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human PFDN5.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
