CD14, Monocyte differentiation antigen CD14, Myeloid cell-specific leucine-rich glycoprotein, CD14, Monocyte differentiation antigen CD14, urinary form, Monocyte differentiation antigen CD14, membrane-bound form

CD14 is a surface protein preferentially expressed on monocytes/macrophages. It binds lipopolysaccharide binding protein and recently has been shown to bind apoptotic cells.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Indirect Flow Cytometry, ELISA
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-100 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50 Immunofluorescence: 1:10-50 Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
CD14 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 61~91 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CD14.
