NGFR, TNFRSF16, Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 16, Gp80-LNGFR, Low affinity neurotrophin receptor p75NTR, Low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor, p75 ICD, CD271

Nerve growth factor receptor contains an extracellular domain containing four 40-amino acid repeats with 6 cysteine residues at conserved positions followed by a serine/threonine-rich region, a single transmembrane domain, and a 155-amino acid cytoplasmic domain. The cysteine-rich region contains the nerve growth factor binding domain.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10-50 Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 353-380 in the C-terminal region of human CD271.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography and immunoaffinity chormatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CD271.
