ENPP7, Ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase family member 7, Alkaline sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase, Intestinal alkaline sphingomyelinase

ENPP7 converts sphingomyelin to ceramide. ENPP7 also has phospholipase C activity toward palmitoyl lyso-phosphocholine. ENPP7 does not appear to have nucleotide pyrophosphatase activity.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
ENPP7 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between amino acid 290-320 from the Central region of human ENPP7.
