Rabbit Anti-FIGLA, ID (FIGLA, BHLHC8, Factor in the germline alpha, Class C basic helix-loop-helix protein 8, Folliculogenesis-specific basic helix-loop-helix protein, Transcription factor FIGa)
FIGLA, BHLHC8, Factor in the germline alpha, Class C basic helix-loop-helix protein 8, Folliculogenesis-specific basic helix-loop-helix protein, Transcription factor FIGa

This gene encodes a protein that functions in postnatal oocyte-specific gene expression. The protein is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that regulates multiple oocyte-specific genes, including genes involved in folliculogenesis and those that encode the zona pellucida. Mutations in this gene cause premature ovarian failure type 6.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 108-137 in the central region of human FIGLA.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human FIGLA.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
