GTF3C2, KIAA0011, General transcription factor 3C polypeptide 2, TF3C-beta, Transcription factor IIIC 110kD subunit, Transcription factor IIIC subunit beta

GTF3C2 is required for RNA polymerase III-mediated transcription. Component of TFIIIC that initiates transcription complex assembly on tRNA and is required for transcription of 5S rRNA and other stable nuclear and cytoplasmic RNAs. May play a direct role in stabilizing interactions of TFIIIC2 with TFIIIC1.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
GTF3C2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 140-170 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human GTF3C2.
