MTF2 binds to the metal-regulating-element (MRE) of metallothionein-1A gene promoter. Binding is zinc-dependent (By similarity).

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

MTF2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 288-317 amino acids from the Central region of human MTF2.
