Rabbit Anti-NDUFAF2, ID (NDUFAF2, NDUFA12L, Mimitin, mitochondrial, B17.2-like, Myc-induced mitochondrial protein, NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex assembly factor 2, NDUFA12-like protein)
NDUFAF2, NDUFA12L, Mimitin, mitochondrial, B17.2-like, Myc-induced mitochondrial protein, NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex assembly factor 2, NDUFA12-like protein

NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex I) catalyzes the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone (coenzyme Q) in the first step of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, resulting in the translocation of protons across the inner mitochondrial membrane. This gene encodes a complex I assembly factor. Mutations in this gene cause progressive encephalopathy resulting from mitochondrial complex I deficiency.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 71-99 in the central terminal region of human NDUFAF2.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human NDUFAF2.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
