Rabbit Anti-NPPC, CT (NPPC, CNP2, C-type natriuretic peptide, CNP-22, CNP-29, CNP-53)
NPPC, CNP2, C-type natriuretic peptide, CNP-22, CNP-29, CNP-53

Natriuretic peptides comprise a family of 3 structurally related molecules: atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP; MIM 108780), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP; MIM 600295), and C-type natriuretic peptide, CNP, encoded by a gene symbolized NPPC. These peptides possess potent natriuretic, diuretic, and vasodilating activities and are implicated in body fluid homeostasis and blood pressure control.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
NPPC antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 79-109 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human NPPC.
