The PAX genes, including PAX1, are a highly conserved family of developmental control genes that encode transcription factors and have been shown to play a role in pattern formation during embryogenesis in vertebrates (McGaughran et al., 2003 [PubMed 12774041]). Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
PAX1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 356-385 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PAX1.
