Rabbit Anti-PHEX, CT (PHEX, PEX, Phosphate-regulating neutral endopeptidase, Metalloendopeptidase homolog PEX, Vitamin D-resistant hypophosphatemic rickets protein, X-linked hypophosphatemia protein)
PHEX, PEX, Phosphate-regulating neutral endopeptidase, Metalloendopeptidase homolog PEX, Vitamin D-resistant hypophosphatemic rickets protein, X-linked hypophosphatemia protein

The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane endopeptidase that belongs to the type II integral membrane zinc-dependent endopeptidase family. The protein is thought to be involved in bone and dentin mineralization and renal phosphate reabsorption. Mutations in this gene cause X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
PHEX antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 566-595 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PHEX.
