Rabbit Anti-PTCRA, CT (PTCRA, Pre T-cell antigen receptor alpha, pT-alpha-TCR)
PTCRA, Pre T-cell antigen receptor alpha, pT-alpha-TCR

In immature T cells the T-cell receptor beta-chain gene (TCRB; MIM 186930) is rearranged and expressed before the TCRA (MIM 186880) chain. At this early stage, TCRB can associate with the pre-T-cell receptor alpha chain (PTCRA). The PTCRA, together with TCRB and the CD3 complex (see MIM 186740), minimally make up the pre-T cell receptor (pre-TCR), which regulates early T cell development.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 197-225 in the C-terminal region of human PTCRA.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human PTCRA.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
