Rabbit Anti-RGS16, NT (RGS16, RGSR, Regulator of G-protein signaling 16, A28-RGS14P, Retinal-specific RGS, Retinally abundant regulator of G-protein signaling)
RGS16, RGSR, Regulator of G-protein signaling 16, A28-RGS14P, Retinal-specific RGS, Retinally abundant regulator of G-protein signaling

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the 'regulator of G protein signaling' family. It inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits. It also may play a role in regulating the kinetics of signaling in the phototransduction cascade.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
RGS16 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 23-53 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human RGS16.
