SORCS1, SORCS, VPS10 domain-containing receptor SorCS1
SORCS1 is one family member of vacuolar protein sorting 10 (VPS10) domain-containing receptor proteins. The VPS10 domain name comes from the yeast carboxypeptidase Y sorting receptor Vps10 protein.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Indirect Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000 Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 126-154 in the N-terminal region of human SORCS1, UniProt Accession #Q8WY21.
