SP5 binds to GC boxes promoters elements. SP5 probable transcriptional activator that has a role in the coordination of changes in transcription required to generate pattern in the developing embryo.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
SP5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 368-398 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SP5.
