Uridine/cytidine kinase-1 (EC 2.7.1.48) is a pyrimidine ribonucleoside kinase that catalyzes the phosphorylation of uridine and cytidine to form uridine monophosphate (UMP) and cytidine monophosphate (CMP) (Van Rompay et al., 2001 [PubMed 11306702]).

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
UCK1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 230-260 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human UCK1.
