Human Anti-Giantin (Recombinant) (ATTO 488) (Golgin Subfamily B Member 1, 372kD Golgi Complex-associated Protein, GCP372, Macrogolgin)
Golgin Subfamily B Member 1, 372 kDa Golgi Complex-associated Protein, GCP372, Macrogolgin
Giantin, the largest Golgi membrane protein, is C-terminally anchored to cis- and medial-Golgi membranes and forms a long ~250nm coiled-coil rod that directly interacts with microtubules in a cell-cycle regulated way. It is an excellent marker for mammalian golgi complex. It is also an antigen in chronic rheumatoid arthritis and in the autoimmune disease Sjoegren syndrome.
