T Cell Immunoglobulin and Mucin Domain Containing Protein-3, HAVcr-2, Hepatitis A Virus Cellular Receptor 2 Homolog

Tim-3 is a Th1-specific cell surface protein. It is expressed selectively by differentiated CD4+Th1 and CD8+Tc1 cells, but is absent on CD4+Th2 and CD8+ Tc2 cells. The Tim gene family has an important role in the regulation of autoimmunity and allergies.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA (direct or indirect): 1:2000-1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000 using ECL. Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is TBST with 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk. Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at room temperature Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
