Mouse Anti-ADARB1 (Double-stranded RNA-specific Editase 1, RNA-editing Deaminase 1, RNA-editing Enzyme 1, dsRNA Adenosine Deaminase, ADAR2, DRADA2, RED1)
This is the enzyme responsible for pre-mRNA editing of the glutamate receptor subunit B by site-specific deamination of adenosines. Alternative splicing of the gene encoding this protein results in several transcript variants, three which have been characterized by the presence or absence of an ALU cassette insert and a short or long C-terminal region.
Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
