Mouse Anti-ARHGAP6 (Rho GTPase Activating Protein 6, Rho-type GTPase-activating Protein 6, Rho-type GTPase-activating Protein RhoGAPX-1, RHOGAP6) (Biotin)

ARHGAP6 (Rho GTPase activating protein 6) is similar to the rhoGAP family of proteins which play a role in the regulation of actin polymerization at the plasma membrane of several cellular processes. ARHGAP6 is thought to have two independent functions, one as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) with specificity for RhoA and another as a cytoskeletal protein that promotes actin remodeling. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.  For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa531-636 from human ARHGAP6 (NP_038286) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human ARHGAP6.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
