CAP2 was identified by its similarity to human adenylyl cyclase-associated protein. The function of CAP2 is unknown. However, it appears to be able to interact with adenylyl cyclase-associated protein and actin.
Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Full length recombinant corresponding to aa1-477 from CAP2 (AAH08481) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
