Mouse Anti-CGGBP1 (CGG Triplet Repeat-binding Protein 1, CGG-binding Protein 1, 20kD CGG-binding Protein, p20-CGGBP DNA-binding Protein, CGGBP)

CGGBP1 influences expression of the FMR1 gene (MIM 309550), which is associated with the fragile X mental retardation syndrome (MIM 300624), by specifically interacting with the 5-prime (CGG)n-3-prime repeat in its 5-prime UTR.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa58-168 from CGGBP1 (NP_003654) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CGGBP1.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
