Mouse Anti-CHMP2A (Chromatin Modifying Protein 2A, BC2, BC-2, Charged multivesicular body protein 2a, CHMP2, CHMP2a, Chromatin-modifying protein 2a, hVps2-1, Vacuolar protein-sorting-associated protein 2-1, VPS2, Vps2-1, VPS2A)
CHMP2A, also known as chromatin modifying protein 2A, belongs to the SNF7 family and it is component of the ESCRT III complex, which is required for multivesicular bodies (MVBs) formation and sorting of endosomal cargo proteins into MVBs. The MVB pathway mediates delivery of transmembrane proteins into the lumen of the lysosome for degradation.
