Mouse Anti-CLPP (Putative ATP-dependent Clp Protease Proteolytic Subunit, Mitochondrial, Endopeptidase Clp)

Clp cleaves peptides in various proteins in a process that requires ATP hydrolysis. Clp may be responsible for a fairly general and central housekeeping function rather than for the degradation of specific substrates.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa178-278 from CLPP (NP_006003) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CLPP. Species Crossreactivity: rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
