Mouse Anti-DHDH (2DD, Trans-1,2-dihydrobenzene-1,2-diol Dehydrogenase, D-xylose 1-dehydrogenase, D-xylose-NADP Dehydrogenase, Dimeric Dihydrodiol Dehydrogenase, Hum2DD) (FITC)
DHDH encodes an enzyme that belongs to the family of dihydrodiol dehydrogenases, which exist in multiple forms in mammalian tissues and are involved in the metabolism of xenobiotics and sugars. These enzymes catalyze the NADP1-linked oxidation of transdihydrodiols of aromatic hydrocarbons to corresponding catechols. This enzyme is a dimeric dihydrodiol dehydrogenase, and it differs from monomeric dihydrodiol dehydrogenases in its high substrate specificity for trans-dihydrodiols of aromatic hydrocarbons in the oxidative direction.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa235-335 from human DHDH (NP_055290) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human DHDH.
